Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.
Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.
If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations:
|Location of food donation point||Opening hours||Comments|
|Asda, Parkhead Forge||24 Hours||Opposite café|
|Asda, Robroyston||24 hours|
|Parkhead Forge||24 hours||Outside Asda|
IMPORTANT INFORMATION – Asda permanent collection points (PCPs) are intended for food that has been purchased in store. We would be grateful if you can ensure that any food purchased in different stores and brought into the PCP stores is be sealed and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.
There is also a donation drop off point in Parkhead Forge outside Asda. This drop off is available during the shopping centre opening times. We are also able to accept donations at Calton Parkhead Church on Mon, Wed, Friday between 10.00am and 2.00pm.
We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
